Alrightey then,I'll throw this to you knowledgeable folk as so far the TAC has beenstumped.We are trying to obtain a complete list of all the serial numbers of the IPphones in our network.Ciscoworks user tracking does not hold the Serial.A portscan reveals that SNMP is open on a phone but I have no idea what thecommunity string is.Does anyone have any other ideas to obtain all phone Serial Numbersremotely?Thanks,Aaroncisco-voip mailing listcisco-voip@puck.nether.net. There is a company called CMReports that makes a scanning tool that scans your network and builds a report from the phones web pages. $49 for this.
Hello Julio,I have created a tool which is in testing phase. I have tested it with couple of phone models 78xx or 88xx or 99xx, and it works.
You can use the tool and please provide me a feedback on the tool. Download the tool from the below link –Procedure-Download the zip file-Extract the files in your PC-Open ImportData.csv and fill Column A with the valid IP Address of IP Phones-Save the CSV file-Launch IP Phone Info Grabber tool-Browse and import “ImportData.csv” file– Click on Get Info– Be patient and allow the tool to complete the execution.

EXE File (Mediafire link) – When using this tool, launch the tool, enter IP Phone’s IP Address range shown in the screenshot (10.1.1.1 10.1.1.200) and click on Start Scanning. It will give you the results.
